Karla Farrar Director

As Managing Director and founder of Mint since 2000, Karla's main passion is helping brands identify and go after new opportunities in the market. A keen observer of new online trends and the different advertising mediums, Karla brings practical marketing experience, creative expertise and unique ideas in a fast changing environment. After 18 years in the industry, she has worked with many international and New Zealand brands, from Coke, Schwarzkopf, BMW, Farmers, Progressive Enterprises and AMP Insurance. Karla loves to travel and enjoys the outdoors. She enjoys snowboarding and on 'blue bird' days, you'll find her on Mt Ruapehu. She is also an animal lover and supporter of many animal charities.

Kirralee Fisher

Kirralee Fisher Senior Designer

Worked at Mint since 2005 and prior to that in a variety of design studios from Auckland to London. As the ‘hands on’ Senior Creative at Mint (18 years in the industry), Kirralee is not only responsible for the formulation of great ideas, but for bringing those ideas to life through the design and production process. She has worked on numerous New Zealand and international brands from NZ Liquor, Peugeot, Marks & Spencer, GlaxoSmithKline to McDonalds Restaurants Ltd, and has recently been responsible for the rebrand of the iconic - Pink Batts. She's also a DIY expert, having project managed and worked on her own home renovations. She loves animals and is a regular at fostering rescue kittens (although recently caved and kept one!). Well travelled and likes her sports especially skiing, on the snow and in the water!

Stephen Myers

Stephen Myers Designer

Since graduating AUT with a Bachelor Degree in Graphic Design in 2007, Steve has spent his career to date working the Mac as well as being able to drive a pencil with his illustration abilities. He loves design but his passion is illustration having won the Studio Art Illustration award 2006. Steve joined Mint in 2008 after completing an invaluable work experience stint at Sanders Design. He is a bit of a music connoisseur and can often be seen with his headphones on to drown out the girls in the office. Like any good designer, he loves a good coffee and can be found getting his daily fix across the road. Loves family, friends, a good concert, the guitar, and travel. Steve is about to do a months stint around the globe, more on that one later!

Jemma Roff

Jemma Roff Account Manager

Jemma came to Mint Ideas having worked in the retail environment for 6 years. After completing her Bachelor of Business at Auckland University and having a 2 year stint as a Sales Representive for Rusty Surfboards, Jemma landed on Mint’s doorstep, keen for a new challenge. Jemma's specialty is strategic marketing and market research insight. Jemma excels when it comes to writing creative/strategic briefs as well as managing campaigns from start to finish. When Jemma is not driving back to her home town of Mt Maunganui, she can be found on the net shopping for clothes and her home renovation. She enjoys the outdoors and running, and has recently trained for a half marathon.
